Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join the Shared Services & IT group within the Technology & Operations Investor Services division. This role will partner closely with business, operations, and technology teams to support initiatives across investor services platforms, with a focus on data management, operational efficiency, system integration, and platform enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong financial services domain expertise and experience working in Agile, data-driven environments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology partners to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications Partner with development and QA teams to support solution design, development, testing, and implementation activities Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and backlog grooming sessions within Agile/Scrum environments Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and improved data flows Support system integration initiatives across upstream and downstream applications within Investor Services platforms Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, validation, and defect resolution Ensure solutions align with governance, risk management, and regulatory standards within financial services environments Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to support effective communication and successful project delivery Support documentation efforts including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, and process maps Required Qualifications 710 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within Financial Services Strong domain knowledge in Capital Markets, Investor Services, Asset Management, Custody, or Fund Services Proven experience supporting data-driven projects and system integration initiatives Expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process mapping Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments Strong understanding of data flows, data analysis, and reporting processes Proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence Experience with SQL or related data querying tools preferred Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working within large financial institutions Exposure to trade lifecycle management, custody operations, fund accounting, or investor reporting Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks within banking and financial services Experience supporting digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives Education: Bachelors Degree
