SENIOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
The Senior Solutions Architect assists clients by improving the way they leverage technology in their business. Responsibilities include identification of gaps or inefficiencies in business processes, working with implementation teams to deliver quality solutions, and ensuring awareness and adoption of each. You will provide technical ideation and innovative analysis to enhance each clients business. To be successful as a Senior Solutions Architect, you should listen to customers feedback and goals to implement strategic technical goals. An effective Senior Solutions Architect will understand how all parts of a client s business model work together in order to design a solution that best fits the environment.
Senior Solutions Architect Responsibilities:
Identifying gaps or problems in clients business processes that can be resolved or improved with a technical solution.
Understand the way different parts of a business work together, including nontechnical dimensions such as financial, customer service, or operations.
Develop a customized technology roadmap to support a client s business strategy.
Determine the cost and scale implications of various solutions.
Communicate how options will work and share with each client in business terms.
Support changeovers from existing to new systems, create training to use them, and integrate to existing systems.
Ensure that any new solution meets industry regulation specifications.
Provide technical advice to clients and maintain ongoing relationships.
Serve as a liaison between external client stakeholders and internal resources to ensure that product development or modification meets the clients needs.
Senior Solutions Architect Requirements:
Above-average understanding of business operations with a technical background.
Experience in both technical and non-technical roles multiple years in software development, product management, project management, implementation teams and/or business analysis.
5+ years' experience serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Strong writing skills and experience developing technical artifacts documenting business needs.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, IT infrastructure, system security concepts, database and web platforms.
Awareness of a wide variety of software solutions, including custom development, CRM/ERP platforms and COTS (off the shelf) options.
Project management and collaboration skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, specifically the ability to explain technical information in business terms.
Ability to provide superb customer service and remain positive in stressful situations.
Excellent problem-solving skills to identify solutions that may not be obvious or common.
