- Develop and modify database structures based on generated DDL.
- Design, code, and optimize databases for proprietary apps, including security, for software team.
- Maintain database documentation, schedule tasks, and coordinate maintenance for optimal performance.
- Monitor and tune databases for efficiency, plan for growth, and collaborate with server admins.
- Lead improvement sessions, mentor teams, multitask, and communicate effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of IT database administration and architecture experience.
- Knowledge of Commissions application platforms is advantageous.
- Practical expertise in database design, programming, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in SQL Server (2014+), T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Familiarity with C#, ASP.net, .Net Framework, and Data Pipeline.
- Knowledge of messaging tools like Kafka or RMQ is a plus.
- Experience in various database platforms such as SQL Server, DB2, Postgres, Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Proficient in CI/CD for automation, with Azure familiarity.
