Job Title: Okta Identity Access Management Analyst

Job Summary:

As the Identity Access Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our digital assets and resources by implementing and maintaining robust identity and access management (IAM) controls. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will establish and manage user access, enforce compliance with cybersecurity protocols, and uphold regulatory requirements in alignment with our company's core values. This position requires a strong understanding of IAM principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IAM, IT technical, or help desk support required.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in identity and access management, including administration of IAM solutions.
  • Proficiency in authentication protocols, access control mechanisms, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with IAM technologies and standards such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and RBAC.
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms like Azure AD, Okta, or Ping Identity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Commitment to upholding company values and fostering a culture of security awareness.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IAM policies, procedures, and access controls.
  • Analyze user provisioning workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve access issues and root cause problems.
  • Administer user identities, access privileges, and permissions across systems.
  • Manage identity lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
  • Implement and maintain authentication mechanisms like Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Conduct access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Assist in responding to security incidents related to unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Develop and maintain IAM documentation including policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging IAM technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate IAM solutions into the overall security infrastructure.
  • Provide end-user support and training on access management and security best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and organizations for access requirements.
