    Machine Learning Engineer 
    Location: San Jose, California (hybrid) 
    Contract-to-hire on W2

    Job Description: We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer with strong Python development and data analysis skills to join our team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for building data and machine learning services for our advertiser sellers. Your main focus will be on optimizing ad budgets and goals by recommending the right inventory, keywords, budget, bid, and audiences for campaigns. Additionally, you will collaborate with applied researchers, engineers, analytics teams, and other cross-functional groups to develop end-to-end production-ready solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct data analysis and processing using Spark, with expertise in PySpark.
    • Utilize SQL for efficient data manipulation and retrieval.
    • Proficiently code in Scala and Python .
    • Collaborate with the team to build predictive models, natural language processing models, and classification models.
    • Translate business problems into machine learning problems and develop prototypes for feasibility assessment.
    • Identify problems, perform data analysis, gain insights, and implement machine learning solutions for A/B testing.
    • Ensure end-to-end execution of machine learning projects, including model building, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • Strong expertise in Spark (PySpark) for data analysis and processing.
    • Proficiency in SQL for efficient data manipulation and retrieval.
    • 3-5 years of experience in data science, Python development, and data analysis.
    • Experience with building predictive models, natural language processing models, and classification models.
    • Ability to translate business problems into machine learning problems and develop quick prototypes.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
