Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr

The Workday Lead Technical Consultant will lead the configuration, integration, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions.
This role is responsible for managing Workday modules, leading integrations, developing custom applications, and ensuring secure and compliant HR system operations.
The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to align Workday solutions with business objectives.

Requirement/Must Have:

6 10 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM including Integrations, Recruiting, Extend, and Advanced Compensation.
Strong experience designing and maintaining integrations using Workday Studio and EIB.
Expertise in Workday security configuration and role-based access management.
Strong knowledge of calculated fields, custom reports, and web services including SOAP and REST.
Proven ability to manage complex HRIS environments and system configurations.

Experience:

Extensive experience managing Core HR, Recruiting, and Advanced Compensation modules.
Experience building custom applications using Workday Extend.
Experience leading system upgrades and module rollouts.
Experience integrating Workday with internal and external systems.
Experience collaborating with HR, IT, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities:

Manage configuration and optimization of Core HR, Recruiting, and Advanced Compensation modules.
Ensure workflows align with business needs and regulatory compliance requirements.
Design and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and cloud connectors.
Ensure secure and accurate data flow across HR systems.
Build custom applications using Workday Extend to address business requirements.
Administer complex compensation programs and annual cycles.
Manage Workday security roles and policies to protect sensitive HR data.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align Workday solutions with organizational goals.
Lead system upgrades, feature releases, and module rollouts.
Provide technical leadership and promote platform best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations.

Should Have:

Workday certifications in HCM Core, Integrations, Extend, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, or Security.
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
Experience with release management and feature rollouts.
Experience integrating Workday with payroll, benefits, finance, and identity systems.
Experience with middleware tools and HRIS data governance.
Demonstrated leadership in Workday implementations and upgrades.

Skills:

Strong technical configuration and integration skills.
Strong understanding of HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and compensation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership and project management capabilities.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Relevant Workday certifications are preferred.
