Job Details
Job Title: Accountant (Hospital/ Healthcare services)
Duration: 6+Months
Location: 100% Remote (Should be fine to work EST time)

Basic/foundational items (e.g., Revenue Recognition principle, prov. vs. resrv. Etc.)
Specifically have Healthcare, and preferably multi-location accounting and finance support.
Need someone who has lead or supervised teams, overlook their work etc
Summary of the skillset below:
- 5 - 7 years of controllership or accounting experience in healthcare services (e.g., hospitals, surgery centers, physician practices), with strong knowledge of US GAAP and healthcare revenue/expense accounting.
- Skilled in preparing and validating journal entries and managing month-end/quarter-end close activities using the close calendar to sequence tasks.
- Experienced in reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs prepared by accounting teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Comfortable working with regional CFOs and finance teams, providing reliable controllership support and ensuring smooth execution of accounting operation
