About the Role
We are seeking a Sr. Environmental Manager to lead and manage environmental compliance across multiple facilities. This key position will oversee environmental and wastewater programs while ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with deep expertise in air quality, wastewater, hazardous waste (RCRA), stormwater, and environmental reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations (EPA, state, and local agencies) across multiple facilities.

Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures.

Lead and perform environmental audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.

Oversee hazardous waste management, including storage, shipment, and disposal.

Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports for compliance and regulatory filings.

Support and manage wastewater treatment operations and related personnel.

Collaborate with third-party environmental consultants and internal teams.

Identify and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage environmental training programs and conduct incident root cause analyses.

Evaluate environmental data and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Lead key environmental projects to improve sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

Stay current on environmental laws, regulations, and compliance trends.

Support environmental aspects of annual budget planning.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (required)

10+ years of experience managing environmental compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong understanding of RCRA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and other applicable regulations

Certifications such as RCRA, HAZWOPER, DOT Hazardous Materials (required)

CHMM and MO Class A Wastewater License (preferred)

Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills

Proficient in using EHS management systems and MS Office tools

Ability to travel between company sites as needed
