Location (East coast prefered but can live near any major airport

Urgency-Immediate-Skills: Ansible is required, Puppet. Terraform. RHEL/CentOS and rpm experience is required, as well as an understanding of how to build rpm packages. Python (2.7 and 3.x), able to read PHP, experience with AWS at scale. Comfortable with Apache configurations, and able to adapt and modify apache configurations as needed. Job description: a mid-level Linux admin who can work with LAMP stacks in AWS and on-prem. Understanding of Docker environments and Kubernetes is a plus, but not a requirement. Able to forge their own way, but also able to build off of current infrastructure and documentation. Experience in both cloud environments and data centers, and able to context-switch between them. Able to see that a wide tool-set is critical for the job, and doesn’t see any one tool as a hammer and every problem as a nail. Communication and ability to work with others is a must. Personality: able to mentor others, but also able to see projects through to completion with little guidance or aid. Able to reach out for assistance when roadblocks are encountered. Understands that the project is not complete until documentation is complete, and others have been trained in the project. Critical to understand that team culture and working with others is as important as technical skills. The ideal candidate for this job will be willing to travel and work on-site with clients, and adjust to the client's needs and expectations. This position is both technical and client facing, and requires customer service skills as well as technical skills. The ideal candidate should be able to document all installation work, including any special adaptations that have occurred due to customer needs or requirements. The candidate will be working on a LAMP stack, maintaining and improving the environment. They will be working with clients on local installations of our software, adapting our installation to the client needs. Maintenance of our Ansible install scripts for remote clients will be a critical job function. Day-to-day duties include: installation and maintenance of the Sophia software package and needed underlying OS maintenance on remote clients systems. Documenting client needs and requests, and functioning as a first point of contact between Wellspring and remote clients. If there is no remote client work, maintenance of the Ansible installation suite, as well as taking on any assigned Jira tickets for the client's SaaS installation and supporting the team in both project and ad-hoc work will be part of the day-to-day job responsibilities.
