Description

SAIC is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with specialized focus on Discovery and Integrations, to join our team supporting the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application suite, and in identified speciality(ies).
  • Responsible for the design of the DOT Service Management System (SMS) and supporting the SMS operations, to include engineers and the SMS development life cycle.
  • Determine which integration method(s) will be used, integration directionality, and attributes.
  • Participate in any data normalization required prior to being imported / inserted into ServiceNow.
  • Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
  • Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, pattern usage and the role of other integrations.
  • Fulfill role of Enterprise Integration Manager.
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
  • Deliver new functionality across applications.
  • Manage and perform SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle.
  • Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
  • Perform response and resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
  • Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
  • Participate in on-call rotation providing support during non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 in administration services for a major Service Management System (SMS), preferably ServiceNow.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
  • Experience with the SNMP technologies that support Discovery Patterns.
  • Experience with SOAP/REST-based API integrations.
  • Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification is required.
  • Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-Disco) Certification is required.

  • Ability to attain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills:
  • 6+ years of direct experience in ServiceNow is preferred.
  • One or more of the following current ServiceNow Micro Certifications is desirable: o MC - IntegrationHub o MC - Automated Test Framework
  • One or more of the following current ServiceNow Certifications is desirable:
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Service Mapping (CIS-SM)
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Event Management (CIS-EM)
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM)
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
    • Certified Application Specialist - Performance Analytics (CAS-PA)


Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
