Summary:
The main function of an electrical engineer is to design, develop, test or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military or scientific use. A typical electrical engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $65.00 - $70.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the design, development, and testing of the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.
- Review and approve the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models.
- Discuss estimates for time and cost to complete projects with clients.
- Supervise the simulation and testing of machine/structure/system operation and monitor product quality.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Skills:

- Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 10+ years experience required.
