Role: SAP Technical Project Manager (with Upgrade Experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Technical Project Manager with a proven track record in managing SAP system upgrades. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of an SAP upgrade project, specifically transitioning from older versions of SAP S/4HANA to the latest release, ensuring that the upgrade is completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP technologies, a deep understanding of SAP upgrade methodologies, and strong leadership abilities. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams to ensure the success of the upgrade process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full SAP upgrade project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Coordinate all phases of the upgrade, including planning, system design, testing, deployment, and post-upgrade support.
Manage risks and resolve issues related to scope, timeline, and resources.
Ensure the upgrade aligns with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management on risks, milestones, and deliverables.
Oversee the technical aspects of the SAP upgrade, including system architecture, infrastructure, configurations, and integrations.
Manage the upgrade process for transitioning from older versions of SAP S/4HANA to SAP S/4HANA 2023 or the latest release.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless system integration and proper configuration during the upgrade process.
Oversee the execution of system tests, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, and address any issues during the testing phase.
Ensure all deliverables are met according to project timelines, quality standards, and business requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, SAP consultants, and business stakeholders.
Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Address and prioritize any escalations or roadblocks that arise during the upgrade process.
