Job Description

As a Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance. Lead quality initiatives throughout the product lifecycle. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job responsibility:

System Audit Process:
  • Plan and conduct audits.
  • Track corrective actions.
  • Maintain QMM procedures and make sure instructions up to date.

Reporting:
  • Manage IDC (Internal defect cost) EDC (External defect cost)
  • Control and report FFR (Field Failure Rate) and Isochrones
  • Lead EWL (Early warning) reports and follow up countermeasures.

ISO 9001 Certification Process:
  • Promote QMM management system manual, policy, and objectives.
  • Review concessions and participate in risk assessment.
  • Promote QMS and support its continual improvement.

Projects and Change Management Process:
  • Team member for ECR projects.
  • Review and approve sustaining ECR.
  • Lead quality engineering activities for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support) to identify, analyze, and resolve product quality issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen.
  • Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze quality data and generate actionable insights.

Value Stream Support Process:
  • Collaborate with value stream manager on conducting value stream Q-Basics assessments.
  • Support product shipping holds.
  • Support value stream with shipping holds or any other QMM related activities.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Promoter for FMEA method.
  • Support QMM team and other areas as necessary.
  • Manage Supplier Quality communications from RMA

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product quality engineering
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Quality metrics, 8D, root cause analysis, and ISO.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
