Programmer (Remote)

Our client is hiring a Programmer to support public health programs, focusing on integrating and optimizing data systems that drive actionable insights. This role is perfect for someone who excels in MS SQL and is passionate about contributing to initiatives that benefit the community.

What You ll Do:

  • Design and develop SQL databases, stored procedures, and data integrations using SSIS and the full MS Development Stack.
  • Optimize legacy systems, enhance reporting automation, and implement best practices for database and application development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and policies are followed.
  • Work on impactful initiatives such as:
  • A statewide health assessment program
  • A health data tracking network.
  • A program supporting childhood health initiatives by analyzing and re-platforming systems to improve data processes.

What You Bring:
Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS SQL, MS SQL Server, and SSIS.
  • Experience with the MS Development Stack.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex data integrations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of database design and architecture.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Power Platform and Tableau.
  • Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to business users.
