Senior Backend Java Engineer

Job Description: A tech innovative, meal kit company is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer. The company is doing all greenfield work as they change the way people utilize meal kit plans. This role will be on the Core backend team to build out new IoT services through greenfield development. The ideal candidate has experience with Golang or Java, AWS environments, and experience with scalability. • BS or higher in CS or related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience working in a large-scale environment
• Proven experience with Java or Golang
• Experience working with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Jenkins and SQL servers
• Strong AWS cloud experience

Desired Skills:

• Desire to work in a greenfield environment
• Understanding of scalability, discrete services, and testing
