Description

This is a hands-on position. It will be responsible for all IT across 7 locations with up to 200 employees. This role will be responsible for setting Technology direction and interacting with vendors. It will not have any direct reports at this time.

We are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Director of IT to lead the technological operations of our multi-office client. This role will be onsite 5 days per week in their Fayetteville office. This role is critical in ensuring robust IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and industry specific technology solutions. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, oversee IT strategy, and collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy to support services across multiple office locations.

Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, telecommunications, and video conferencing systems.

Lead cybersecurity initiatives by implementing secure remote access, disaster recovery planning, and compliance with legal data protection standards.

Manage the IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.

Establish and maintain vendor relationships, handling contract negotiations and ensuring service-level agreement compliance.

Collaborate with practice groups and administrative departments to implement technology solutions that improve legal workflows.

Oversee the deployment and maintenance of legal-specific software, including practice management, document management, and case management systems.

Ensure adherence to state and federal data privacy regulations and ethical standards related to client confidentiality.

Develop and manage IT budgets, optimizing investments while maintaining operational efficiency.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the legal industry to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing multi-office environments.

Proven ability to develop and implement IT strategies.

Expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, cloud services, and remote work technologies.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and manage IT teams effectively.

Excellent communication skills
