Job Details

Job Title- Email Data Campaign Location- Remote Duration- 6+ months with possible ext.


- SQL scripting experience

- Email execution experience

- Database marketing experience

Ideal candidate: A team player that has an in-depth working knowledge of Responsys Interact. The ideal candidate will be able to grasp new concepts quickly, be technical in nature, and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure marketing emails are executed correctly. Someone who likes solving complex puzzles and has an automation mentality.

Required soft skills good communicator, comfortable working on multiple projects at once, willing to pitch in where needed

  1. SQL: 3+ years preferred, 1+ year required
  2. Responsys Interact (of other ESP): 3+ years preferred, 1+ year required


  1. Experience using Responsys system or other ESP
  2. SQL
  3. Ability to effectively communicate technical challenges to non-technical audiences

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE (Level of experience? # yrs?):

  • 3+ years of campaign management software experience
  • 3+ years experience working with marketing automation solutions
  • 3+ years experience working in or directly supporting marketing

HM Notes

This role will be focused exclusively on using data to talk to customers. This is not an analyst position and will require minimal analytic skills. We are looking for someone who has used Responsys Interact in some capacity to deploy email, but with an eye towards someone with SQL + campaign management experience.

  • We currently work on oracle responsys platform
  • We've always used oracle as a full service agency for us (creative to coding to qa)
  • Looking to be more efficient and scale our program by building more in-house

Planning & Navigating Requirements

  • Advocates and executes direct marketing strategies in support of Client company and marketing goals.
  • Supports the breadth of email needs from unique to dynamic emails driven from data.
  • Creates and manages workload to meet hard-deadlines and adapts to agile business demands.
  • Executes on both ad-hoc promotional campaigns and automated scheduled programs.
  • Executes from project plans for direct marketing efforts.
  • QA checks and troubleshoots UAT proofs to ensure strong execution and quality.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Able to translate technical explanations to non-technical parties.
