Resource 1 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Data Engineer, specializing in the NetSuite Analytics Warehouse platform, for a remote, long-term contract position. This role is crucial for leveraging data to drive business insights and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, ETL processes, and analytics, with a deep understanding of NetSuite s cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures within the NetSuite Analytics Warehouse environment.
- Implement and manage ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into NetSuite, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive business insights.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards within NetSuite for real-time analytics, helping various departments to make data-driven decisions.
- Optimize data workflows and processes for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and NetSuite solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with at least 2 years focused on NetSuite platforms, specifically NetSuite Analytics Warehouse.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Proven ability to build and optimize data systems and integrate complex datasets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various departments.
- Certification in NetSuite ERP Consultant or NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer is highly desirable.
Targeted start date for this position is early May.
