Description
Facility observer duties are front-line customer support personnel. These positions are covered under the Service Contractor Labor Standards (SCLS) wage determinations and any applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Their primary duty is to ensure all who enter the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing both interior and exterior crowd control, assist the staff in enforcing the rules and policies of the ASCs (ex. providing guidance on parking regulations, not allowing people to take photographs, videos, consume food and drink in the ASC, etc.), conducting periodic facility checks, and assisting the SS and/or Federal employee in calling local law enforcement or first responders when necessary.
The facility observer on duty shall adequately screen all applicants entering the facility and utilize crowd control barriers (stanchions or rails) to ensure a safe and organized entry into the facility. All applicants and their hand-carried items will be visually inspected but not opened prior to allowing entry into the facility.

Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred expertise as security guard or protection services
- Preferred ability to speak a foreign language
- Ability to stand upright on one's feet for scheduled shift duration, excluding meals and breaks.
- Ability to obtain DHS Public Trust
