Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. This role is responsible for providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with PC deployment, hardware troubleshooting, and user account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, reimage, and configure desktop and laptop computers in a corporate setting
  • Perform cable management and ensure proper workstation setup and organization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including PCs, monitors, laptops, and printers
  • Conduct minor hardware repairs and component replacements as needed
  • Provide break/fix support and assist with IT deployments
  • Utilize Active Directory to add, remove, and manage user accounts
  • Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset inventory
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in desktop support or IT field services
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and desktop imaging processes
  • Experience with Active Directory user management
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and peripheral devices
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
