Job Details

In this contract role based in Austin, Texas you will report to the Senior Manager, Product Management for Moderation Products, where you'll envision incredible games and player experiences with high-level platforms like Cloud, Commerce, Data and AI, Gameplay Services, Identity and Social.

As a Frontend Design Engineer, you'll develop high-fidelity, interactive prototypes that represent the user experience. Daily, you'll engineer solutions to improve experiences and build point of contacts of the interactions needed in a portfolio of related products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to understand user needs and translate them into exceptional front-end experiences.
  • Design and prototype user interfaces (UIs) using industry-standard design tools and best practices.
  • Develop clean, reusable, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks like React or Vue.js).
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless user experience on all screen sizes.
  • Work with front-end developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
  • Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to provide definition for a system, integrating user feedback and requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
  • Identify future opportunities, working as a partner to your counterparts in product development.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and prototyping user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with a modern front-end development framework (React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Hands-on experience shipping functional products, with an understanding of the importance of detail at each stage of development.
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma and Sketch.
  • B2B/B2C portfolio (4+ years), spanning both web and mobile, that reflect design excellence.
