Hypertherm s Associate Architect is a solution and enterprise architecture role focused on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), financial analytics, and reporting. This role operates at the intersection of Finance, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture to design, govern, and evolve scalable, well-governed solutions that enable enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and performance insights.
As the Associate Architect, you will:
- Serve as the solution architect and subject matter expert for Oracle EPM and Power BI , supporting financial planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics use cases
- Partner closely with Finance FP&A, Financial Systems, Data, and IT teams to translate business strategy and reporting needs into scalable EPM and analytics architectures
- Contribute to future-state architecture and roadmap for EPM and financial analytics , aligned with enterprise data and technology strategy
- Design and govern:
- Oracle EPM solution architectures
- Power BI semantic models, reporting architectures, and consumption patterns
- Financial and operational data models
- Integration patterns with ERP, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
- Guide the evaluation, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle EPM modules to streamline planning, reporting, and performance analysis
- Define and enforce governance for dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, and master data within Oracle EPM and Power BI
- Architect and govern integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems, data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise analytics platforms
- Enable standardized, reusable Power BI reporting frameworks that extend Oracle EPM insights across the enterprise
- Provide architectural oversight to ensure solutions meet business requirements and comply with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards
- Review and govern enhancements, datasets, reports, and third-party tools within the Oracle EPM and Power BI ecosystem
- Develop architectural documentation, standards, and design artifacts for EPM and analytics solutions
- Support user adoption, training, and change-management in partnership with Finance
- Promote continuous improvement, portfolio rationalization, and best practices across EPM and financial analytics platforms
Who you are and the experience you will bring:
- Bachelor s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT solution delivery, finance systems, data/analytics, or architecture-related roles
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM (planning, consolidation, reporting, metadata, security, and/or integrations)
- Experience designing or enabling Power BI solutions, including data models, reports, and analytics integration patterns
- Working knowledge of financial processes such as planning, forecasting, and consolidation and how they translate into systems and data flows
- Ability to translate business requirements into solution, data, and analytics architecture artifacts
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Data, and IT stakeholders
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, cloud-based data platforms, and analytics architectures
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and system development lifecycle practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
- Analytical, systems-thinking mindset with a collaborative and outcomes-driven approach
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
- Experience with Oracle Narrative Reporting
- Experience defining or aligning solutions to enterprise canonical data models and analytics standards
- Experience with portfolio rationalization, technical debt reduction, or architecture governance
- Exposure to enterprise data platforms, data lakes, or advanced analytics environments
Location: If you live in NH Position is onsite in Hanover, NH. Outside of NH can be remote.
