Oracle Cloud Implementation (functional) - Cloud ERP / GTM
This can a be a contract or contract to hire role
16 18 years of functional experience in the IT space and minimum 5-7 years in GTM.
Another key requirement is hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud implementations. We re specifically looking for candidates who have completed at least one Cloud ERP implementation with GTM. Candidates without this experience will not be considered for further screening
ORACLE GTM/OMS FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT
Prefer local, Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, could be a remote candidate living in Midwest or east cost only no west coast
travel 2 weeks out of month, Monday through Thursday (paid travel). Contract to hire or straight contract oracle GTM/OMS order management system functional
An Oracle GTM/OMS Functional Consultant analyzes business requirements for global trade management (GTM) and order management (OMS), designs and configures solutions, and supports implementations. Key duties include gathering requirements, creating functional design documents, collaborating with technical teams, leading testing (UAT), and providing end-user training and support. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle GTM/OMS and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Business analysis: Analyze business needs and processes, gather requirements, and map them to Oracle GTM/OMS functionalities.
- Solution design: Design and configure Oracle modules like Trade Compliance, Restricted Party Screening, Customs Management, and Order Management, Pricing, and Shipping.
- Documentation: Create functional design documents (FDDs), solution blueprints, and configuration guides.
- Collaboration: Work with technical teams to develop custom solutions and integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, transportation systems).
- Testing: Develop and execute test plans, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide support during go-live.
- Training and support: Create training materials, conduct training sessions for end-users, and provide post-implementation support.
- Best practices: Implement best practices and help minimize customizations to ensure long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field like supply chain management or business administration is typical.
- Proven experience in end-to-end Oracle GTM and/or OMS implementations.
- Expertise in specific modules such as Trade Compliance, Order Management, Shipping, and Customs.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and trade compliance processes.
- Proficiency in and is often beneficial.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
