    Sr/Lead SAP FICO Analyst

    Term: Fulltime Permanent Opportunity with all Benfits and 401 K

    Job Summary

    Senior SAP FICO Analyst designs, builds, tests, and deploys SAP FICO solutions; leading analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO areas, in close cooperation with the internal customer finance / accounting team. Conducting structured testing internally and with users; Ensuring stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implementation and support of core SAP FICO applications including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, and related supporting applications.
    • Validate and document any configuration and customization requirements.
    • Provide training to end-user.
    • Sort out day to day end user questions.
    • Enhancement of the SAP financial areas for end users based on requirements.
    • Accounting knowledge, specifically GL accounting, to understand the impact of transactions understanding of Debits and Credits.
    • Advisor to make suggestion on doing something a different way to avoid going down the wrong path.
    • Focus on process improvement.

    Tasks and Experience:

    • Deep understanding of core SAP FICO applications, as well as an understanding of the business requirements of the financial organization.
    • Attend meetings with internal customers and lead discussions about requirements and improvements.
    • Gather Information on their current business processes and prepare documentation.

    • Gap Analysis-finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes.
    • Functional testing and Integration Testing.
    • Configure Global settings and Enterprise structure settings.
    • Configure G/L, A/P, A/R, Asset Accounting.
    • Prepare End user training documents.
    • Support business workflow processes.
    • Production support for SAP FICO and related environments.
    • Become the primary expert in the area of SAP FICO and effective implementation and support.
    • Experience in US, Canada, Mexico SAP Financial System, scenarios & statutory requirements
    • Experience in incorporating non-SAP ERPs to SAP ERP (Company acquisition scenarios)
    • Interfacing to third party applications.
    • Ability to lead medium sized projects.
    • 10 years of demonstrated experience as an SAP FICO functional analyst desired.

    Education

    • An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business is preferred.
