Android Security Engineer

Currently, we are searching for an Android Security Engineer to fulfill an immediate vacancy. This individual will be responsible for leading the internal data security audits across the enterprise, analyzing Android malware through reverse engineering, code reviews, and security, developing signatures to detect various types of threats. This is a remote 3 year contract.

We are actively speaking with applicants that have:

• 5+ years of Android reverse engineering

• 4+ years of mobile development including: Kotlin, Javascript, and Java

• Exposure to reverse engineering tools including: Ghidra, Frida, Jadx, IDA Pro

Preferred skills include:

• In-depth knowledge of Android internals, Java programming language, and mobile app store policies

• Exposure to application, data, and network security principles

• Ability to analyze source code software

• experience with threat detection, risk assessment, mitigation, planning and implementation

• In-depth knowledge of security engineering and analysis topics

• Experience with developing signatures and researching threats using Open-Source Intelligence

• Ability to work closely with, guide, and influence a team

• Experience with vulnerability analysis, Android development, and Capture the Flag competitions in mobile software

• BS/MS in STEM discipline
