Business Analyst - II - InfoPath and SharePoint Workflow Migration

Position Summary
The Business Analyst (BA) serves as a key liaison between business divisions and the IT organization to deliver technical solutions. This position focuses on projects migrating Microsoft InfoPath Forms to Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint Designer 2013 workflows to Microsoft Power Automate. The BA will possess expertise in business processes and an understanding of IT systems to help automate and standardize business functions. This role requires translating high-level business requirements into functional and technical specifications and managing changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
Project-Specific Duties (InfoPath & SharePoint Workflow Migration)
Requirements

  • Gathering: Work with stakeholders in departments such as HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Shipping to document current forms and workflows, including the number of users, integrations, dependencies, and automations.
  • Documentation: Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and clearly document requirements and use cases to be used by the project team.
  • Migration Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager, Developers, and Quality Assurance to deliver the PowerApps and Power Automate solutions.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Work with the business through UAT to ensure the delivered solutions meet business needs. General BA Core Responsibilities
  • Strategy: Identify opportunities to redesign and automate business processes to achieve better business results.
Execution
  • Serve as a liaison between divisions/functions and IT on projects and enhancements.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Create and maintain documentation for business processes, requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Support the creation and coordination of test plans, working with the QA/Testing team and end users.
  • Communicate systems and procedural changes to end users through excellent written and oral communications.
Building Capabilities
Serve as an expert to support the education and training of end users, working to increase their proficiency and adoption of new solutions.

Qualifications
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of products and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Jira to create stories is a plus.
  • Experience with migrations from End-of-Life technologies to new applications and platform environments is a plus.
  • Experience with File Server Migrations is a plus
