Job Details

The Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is looking for a skilled Configuration and Data Manager to join our team dedicated to supporting the US Space Force in a hybrid Azure cloud environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing configurations, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating seamless operations across cloud and on-premises systems. Your expertise in Azure services, configuration management, and data governance will be pivotal in enhancing our mission success and operational efficiency.

This position has the ability to be worked remotely but the ideal candidate would be local to the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the Software Configuration Management (CM) Repository to support continuous integration and deployment of software builds.
  • Maintain and enforce the Configuration Management Plan and Quality Control Plan.
  • Maintain additional CDRLs per their requirements.
  • Perform baseline audits to ensure compliance with Configuration Management Plan.
  • Coordinate with Release Manager on release planning and execution
  • Prepare/inspect deployment documentation package (RFC) to include release notes, user materials.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure to maintain the software products including licenses and renewals.
  • Coordinate with PMO on administrative support for team member certifications and access.
  • Coordinate with Leidos and Program SMEs to support regular quality audits
  • Data Transfer Officer

Basic Qualifications:
  • with at least a SECRET clearance
  • Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or MS with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Configuration Management experience, minimum one year
  • Strong writing skills (Writing sample maybe required)
  • MS Office exp a must, particularly Word.
  • Experience with Agile practices
  • Experience with CM tools - SharePoint, Atlassian, Git, etc.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, process improvement, process monitoring
  • Experience interacting with various stakeholders
  • Experience and understanding of CM aspect of Continuous Integration /Continuous Development (CI/CD), experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD
  • Excellent organization and tracking skills
  • Experience with creating workflows
  • Experience with tracking and monitoring defects
  • Team player with ability to work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Writer Experience
  • Experience as Data Transfer Officer
  • Cert in SAFE, CSM or other Agile area
  • Cert in ITIL
  • Experience with CMMI
  • Experience as Removable Media Custodian
  • Proficiency inf Atlassian tools (Confluence/Jira/Mattermost)
