Job Description:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the IT  infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems. This role ensures system security, performance, and reliability while providing technical support to end users.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Administration and documentation of on-premises and Azure based hybrid infrastructure.
  • Vendor management including interacting with vendors for system-related support and upgrades; managing ticket escalation and resolution; and project-based and support-based technical issue resolution.
  • Onboard new users, explain policies and procedures and provide other user training in accordance with company policy.
  • Orchestrate deployment and redeployment of Desktop computers, laptops, tablets to employees utilizing Microsoft AutoPilot and Intune.
  • Upgrade, install, and configure application software and computer hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and solve all levels of technical support issues involving computers, tablets, applications, network devices and related technology.
  • Create new logical roles, manage system permissions and user accounts.
  • Maintain permissions to network / cloud file share systems.
  • Perform IT evaluation for new and existing technology solutions as required to support company objectives.
  • Manage and track information requests in the IT support ticketing system that need escalation due to their impact on the organization.
  • Automate daily IT related administrative tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICTIONS
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science,
  • Information Technology or another technical discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems with 10 or more years’ experience including Microsoft
  • Active Directory, Windows Operating systems (Desktop and Server, basic SQL querying and Salesforce Administration.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and their applications in modern IT departments.
  • Open to training and learning the intricate structure of client’s information systems.
  • Cyber Security Awareness / Data Management – awareness of security protocols and compliance including data protection and compliance with relevant data privacy laws.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in system administration and IT service delivery.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change when needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Proven ability to meet objectives.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Ability to travel to company offices as required.
  • Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office equipment.
  • Ability to view computer screens for extended periods.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and reaching within the office environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects (up to 15 lbs), such as files, documents, or office supplies.
  • Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
