Role: Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Lovelaceville, KY (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and hands-on support for end-user computing environments.
The ideal candidate will deliver timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and system performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including OS, application, and connectivity problems.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows/macOS devices and related applications.

  • Support user account management, password resets, and access provisioning.

  • Manage incident tickets, track progress, document issues, and ensure timely resolution according to SLAs.

  • Assist with new system setups, upgrades, patches, and deployments.

  • Support basic network troubleshooting including LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi issues.

  • Coordinate with IT teams for escalations, asset management, and inventory control.

  • Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

  • Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with end users.


Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in desktop/laptop troubleshooting (Windows & macOS).

  • Knowledge of hardware diagnostics, imaging tools, and system configuration.

  • Experience with Active Directory, user accounts, and access management.

  • Basic understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
