Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Scottsdale, AZ. Responsibilities include supporting server and database migrations, performing root cause analysis for major incidents, and ensuring infrastructure solutions align with IT standards and best practices.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator job responsibilities include:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain system security and integrity.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations to protect data and ensure business continuity.
- Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations in compliance with IT policies.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for support and auditing purposes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Red Hat) are a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Experience with system monitoring, patch management, and backup/recovery solutions.
