Job Title: Accounting Technician (Full-Time, Non-Exempt Status)
Position Will Report To: Manager, Statutory Reporting
Onsite Placement: League City, Texas - Marina One (Monday-Friday / Between the core hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm/CST) Availability outside of core hours during peak periods to achieve deadlines, required.
Join our team as an Accounting Technician, where you will oversee state filings, produce reconciliations and journal entries - with support, and perform general administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic accounting knowledge who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and values organization and teamwork.

What You will Do
- Prepare and manage state filings, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met (Critical deadlines are primarily between the months of February-April)
- Complete state filing checklists, gather required documentation, and coordinate with executive staff for signoffs
- Support quarter close activities, including updating officer lists and collecting information for required forms
- Assist with reconciliations and journal entries (with support from the financial reporting team)
- Perform administrative tasks and data entry using financial reporting tools
- Communicate and partner with various teams that include Administration, Compliance, Legal, and Accounting teams
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Experience in an office environment is ideal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Technical aptitude: proficiency in Excel is a plus
