Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Servicenow Portfolio Manager

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Define the strategic roadmap for ServiceNow capabilities in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the portfolio of ServiceNow projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, scope accuracy, and budget adherence.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of ServiceNow developers, administrators, and business analysts.
  • Governance: Establish governance policies for ServiceNow functionalities and configurations to ensure best practices and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with business users and executives, IT teams, board staff and board members to ensure ServiceNow services meet and exceed expectations.
  • Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet objectives for multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with ServiceNow projects and operations.
  • Performance Metrics: Define KPIs and create dashboards to measure the effectiveness and ROI of ServiceNow initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve ServiceNow processes and functionalities, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure ServiceNow operations are in compliance with legal regulations and company security policies.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT portfolio management focused on large scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and various modules such as Service Catalog, Incident/Problem/Change Management, Asset Management, etc.
  • Expert in project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or PMP.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • ITIL Certified.
  • Experience leading complex ServiceNow based programs.
  • Certifications in ServiceNow, Project Management (PMP), or related areas.
  • Previous experience in U.S. Federal Government sector or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
