Job Details
Prosums is seeking a Network Engineer 1 to join their clients team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 100% onsite role with occasional travel to clinic sites for upgrades throughout Los Angeles. 6+ month contract, W2 only.
Network Engineer I
- As a member of the infrastructure team, the Network Engineer will help support the design, implementation, maintenance and operational support of all aspects of the LAN/WAN infrastructure consisting of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, load balancers, monitoring systems, and structured cabling.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi-protocol networks
- Active certifications such as CCNA and CCNP preferred
- Must have experience working in mid to large enterprise infrastructure environments, Healthcare environment required
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper Networks equipment and operating systems required
- Experience with Cisco and other major telephony platforms preferred
- Experience with structured cabling
- Excellent time management and organization skills, must be self-starter
- Experience creating and maintaining technical drawings and documentation, and reading floor plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate activities with clinical leadership and technical teams
- Experience in time keeping, meeting minutes, project coordination required
- Perform other tasks as assigned
