Lead PL/SQL Data Engineer (Capital Markets, Trade Lifecycle)
Introduction
The Lead PL/SQL Data Engineer will be responsible for managing data operations, ETL processes, and reporting within the Investment Management and Capital Markets domain. This role requires expertise in PL/SQL and a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including securities, Mutual Funds, and ETFs. The position is based in Manhattan, NY with a hybrid work mode.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion frameworks
- Implement ELT pipelines for efficient data processing
- Manipulate data using PL/SQL for reporting and analysis
- Ensure data flow and integrity throughout the trade lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data operations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
Required Skills
- 12+ years of development experience
- 7+ years of experience in Data Operations
- 5+ years of experience in Investment Management and Capital Markets
- Proficiency in PL/SQL for data manipulation
- Experience with data ingestion frameworks and ELT pipelines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of securities, Mutual Funds, and ETFs
- Experience with reporting solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
