Product Owner

Role - Product Owner with Healthcare experience

Location - Chicago, IL ( 3 days onsite @ client location)

Tentative Duration - 6 months

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong healthcare domain experience
• Solid understanding of HL7 standards
• Expertise in BI reporting tools and practices

1. Define and Manage the Product Backlog
• Create and maintain a prioritized list of features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Ensure backlog items are clearly defined and understood by the team.
2. Set the Product Vision and Strategy
• Communicate the product vision to the team and stakeholders.
• Align the product roadmap with business goals and customer needs.
3. Prioritize Needs
• Balance the needs of stakeholders, customers, and the development team.
• Make trade-off decisions based on value, risk, and effort.
4. Act as the Voice of the Customer
• Represent customer interests and ensure the product delivers value.
• Gather feedback and incorporate it into the product backlog.
5. Collaborate with Stakeholders
• Work closely with business leaders, users, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between product development and business objectives.
6. Participate in Scrum Ceremonies
• Attend sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Be available to answer questions and provide feedback during sprints.
7. Accept or Reject Work Results
• Review completed work and decide whether it meets the acceptance criteria.
• Provide timely feedback to the development team.
8. Ensure Product Quality
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure testing aligns with business requirements.
9. Report out preparation for higher management
