Job Details

We are seeking an experienced IBM InfoSphere DataStage ETL Developer to support a large-scale State/Government Integrated Eligibility (IE) and Medicaid Data Warehouse environment. This role focuses on building, supporting, and optimizing enterprise-grade ETL pipelines in a highly regulated production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain parallel and sequence ETL jobs using IBM DataStage

  • Support production ETL workflows and resolve data load failures

  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings and technical documentation

  • Perform SQL validation, performance tuning, and data quality checks

  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders

  • Support Linux/Unix scripting for job automation and orchestration

  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards

Requirements:

  • Prior experience on a State/Government IE or Medicaid project (required)

  • Expert-level IBM InfoSphere DataStage experience

  • Strong SQL skills across large datasets

  • Hands-on Linux/Unix shell scripting

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL best practices

  • Proven production support and troubleshooting experience

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server

  • Medicaid, MMIS, or public sector data warehouse experience
