Job Details

Mandatory Qualifications:
10 years as a Business Analyst in large organizations.
Leading/participating in technical implementations of software/systems for automating complex business processes.

Skills:
Scope assessment and task analysis.
Business analysis task planning.
Facilitating JAD or collaborative design sessions.
Eliciting, defining, and documenting business, user, and system requirements.
Business process improvement, application design, and workflow automation.
Modeling and documenting functional designs.
Leading cross-functional teams (SMEs, architects, developers, testers).

Deliverables:
Business and functional requirements, business rules.
Non-functional requirements.
Stakeholder requests, procurement documentation.
Transition plans, traceability matrices.

Tools:
3+ years using Rational Requisite Pro, HP ALM, Jama, or similar tools for requirements documentation and traceability.

Desirable Qualifications:
Government Experience: Business Analyst experience in State or Federal government.
Domain Expertise: Experience in pension/retirement software development projects, especially in BI and Data Warehouse solutions.
Certifications: IIBA CBAP or CCBA.
Agile Methodology: Experience with agile or Scaled Agile Framework.
Project Management: Experience as a project manager for software development/implementation projects.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
