Infrastructure Project Manager - Commercial Real State

12 Months Contract

• This role requires travel to project sites 25-50% of the time. Some overnight travel is required.
 
Role Title: IT Project Manager - Real Estate
 
Resources must be available from 8:30am-5pm CST/EST for planning activities and for go-live periods of 5pm-2am EST.

Role Mandate:
 
Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders / sponsor’s needs and deliver on desired outcomes. This role supports the Client’s Channels expansion program by providing the infrastructure resources required to scale operations and enable growth. The Infrastructure Services team is responsible for delivering and managing core technology across the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) portfolio, including network environments, LAN rooms, end-user computing, and overall technology lifecycle management. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and consistent infrastructure for both new and existing locations by supporting network connectivity, maintaining on-site technology, and aligning systems with enterprise standards. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, this function helps ensure that technology environments effectively support business operations, enhance resilience, and provide a seamless experience across all channels.
 
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them
• Assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, and enforcing accountability.
• Developing and maintaining a budget and schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
• Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues
• Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions
• Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis
• Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining, and conveying impact on budget, time and risk
• Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them
• Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve project issues and escalate to immediate manager when required
• Manage project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis. Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools, and findings for future projects
• Perform regular visits to construction sites to confirm IT deliverables and meet with various vendors and trades
• Responsible for onsite management and development of team on a project-by-project basis with ownership for full technical delivery
• Perform onsite install verification assessments and floor walk throughs.
• Thorough knowledge of revenue producing business lines may be impacted by project work and how to mitigate those risks and communicate assurances to their stakeholders
 
Must Have Skills:
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• The ideal candidate would have previous experience with real estate builds, renovations, remodels, etc supporting the IT side of the work, (circuit order and delivery, infrastructure buildout, (network voice/data, server, personal tech setup, etc).
• Senior / experienced enough to be assertive when scheduling work and getting work completed on schedule – there are competing demands for change windows and for resources.
