    job summary:

    Randstad Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior IT Quality Analyst for an exciting contract role with one of our Kansas City Area Clients. The Senior Quality Analyst is responsible for adhering to standardized QA policies, processes, and documentation standards, overseeing and/or participating in all aspects of project testing. This role will work very closely with the members of a cross-functional delivery teams and will be focused on ensuring product quality



    Preferred Qualifications


    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Technology or Technical Related Degree or experience


    - Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience


    - Experience working with individuals in different geographical locations and time-zones


    - Great analytical skills with ability to analyze requirements and document test plans, test scripts and plan test execution


    - Deep software testing experience and knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts


    - Experience in SIT, UAT testing, Load & Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Web Testing, API Testing & writing SQL Queries


    - Experience with Agile & Waterfall methodologies with an understanding on DevSecOps framework


    - Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, HP ALM etc.


    - Experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, TOSCA, NodeJs, Cucumber, Appium


    - Experience with CI to enable automated test execution with CI/CD tools


    - Great communication skills (verbal and written)


    - Attention to detail


    - Great organizational skills


    - Ability to multi-task and work on separate projects in a fast pace & dynamic environment


    - Demonstrated an ability to work independently with limited direction



    Certifications


    CSTE or ISTQB Certification preferred




    Education:

    Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience. In addition to the education requirements, four to six years related experience in software development or Quality Assurance. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

    responsibilities:


    - Implement quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications,


    products, throughout their development lifecycles


    - Implement and provide guidance to other team members on software quality assurance


    testing techniques including, smoke, functional, regression, exploratory and integration


    testing to meet testing software requirements


    - Define quality requirements and standards for projects, specify the quality strategy and


    outline quality objectives


    - Conduct internal quality audits and assessments to ensure processes and documentation


    comply with QMO standards, policies, or best practices


    - Work with QA Manager to verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed


    - Responsible for test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and


    reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution


    - Lead implementation and execution of functional, regression and user acceptance tests


    - Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project


    stakeholders and management


    - Create and execute Automation test framework to increase testing effectiveness and


    reduce time to deliver quality product


    - Help with UAT testing to plan and organize UAT, coordinate and monitor testing,


    monitor defects, create defect reports, work with vendors and the state to resolve the


    defects/bugs
