Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all I.T. JSOX policies in performing day to day activities.
- Periodically train on the I.T. department's policies per schedule provided by the QA department and in compliance with JSOX.
- Manage, support and administer I.T. JSOX monitoring and reporting tools.
- Assist in creation and modification of I.T. Policies and procedures
- Assist with all internal and external IT department audits
- Manage Data Networks to all facilities (NY, OH, PA, CA, and Altkirch)
- While the position is for the Shirley, NY facility, some travel to other sites is required.
- Responsible for Design & Architecture of the enterprise data network.
- Install, configure and maintain the organization's LAN - Network Security Hardware/Software, Cisco Firewalls & Switches, and Routers.
- Configure and administer Enterprise Wireless (SSIDs, VLAN tagging, Security policies)
- Configure and administer Nexus/Catalyst switching core (Trunking/VPC/LACP)
- Configure and administer WAN connectivity with ELINE/MPLS utilizing IPSEC mesh and dynamic routing
- Configure and administer Cisco Voice (CUCM/CUC/CUCX) add, moves, changes, upgrades, integrations
- Configure, administer, and monitor Corporate Firewalls (ASA, Palo Alto)
- Configure and administer configuration management
- Operations for network monitoring and traffic analysis using OPS Manager
- Operations for network patching / remediation
- Maintain and administer Cisco FireSIGHT/SourceFire/Firepower platform integration with Firewall Appliances.
- Manage all Enterprise Communications - VPN, MPLS Data Circuits and all voice & data Communications.
- Manage, support and administer the corporate telephony infrastructure including but not limited to the Cisco Phone Switch and telephony devices.
- Manage, support and administer VPN, Wireless, and Virtualization.
- Maintain inventory of network infrastructure equipment and network documentation (diagrams).
- Apply fixes / patches to Network Hardware / Software on an as needed basis.
- Participate in developing Strategic Roadmap for the advancement of Next Generation Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other I.T. Staff members regarding security related projects.
- Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of seven years' experience in Networking Engineering/Supporting Networks.
- Demonstrates mastery level of Cisco networking equipment.
- Cisco Certifications Required (Examples CCIE, CCNP, CCSP, CCVP), Other Certifications (such as CISSP and PCNSA) are recommended.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
