Job Title: Software Engineer 4 / Atlassian Platform Engineer (Jira & Automation)

Location: Charlotte, NC Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Contract Length: 12mo

Pay Rate: $69 - $74

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Top Requirements:

Strong experience with Jira Service Management administration (Cloud or Data Center)

Experience designing and integrating APIs for scalable enterprise solutions

Solid understanding of software architecture and data integration

Plusses:

Experience with scripting or development languages (Python, Java, Perl, .NET, React)

Experience with orchestration frameworks and automation solutions

Experience building workflow and intake systems within Atlassian ecosystem

Strong Agile experience delivering enterprise solutions

Strong stakeholder communication and technical translation skills

Job Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangible or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intake, workflow, and automation solutions using Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets)
• Build scalable and compliant enterprise solutions leveraging APIs and data integration techniques
• Configure and administer Jira Service Management environments
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks within the Atlassian ecosystem
• Integrate systems and applications using REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver roadmap-driven solutions
• Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and workflows
• Optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency and scalability
• Communicate technical strategies and solutions to business stakeholders
• Support modernization and transformation initiatives across enterprise platforms
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards
