Key Responsibilities
- Partner with implementation teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build and configure integrations between Workday and enterprise systems, focusing on HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
- Participate in the full integration lifecycle—planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Follow Workday integration best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
- Configure Workday connectors including Core Connectors and Cloud Connect, enabling integrations with HRIS, payroll systems, benefit providers, recruiting platforms, and other external applications.
- Develop custom integrations using Workday Studio with technologies like XSLT, XPATH, and XML.
- Configure and maintain Workday EIBs for inbound and outbound data exchanges.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including design specs, mapping docs, and architecture diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues while ensuring system stability, data accuracy, and performance.
- Stay current with Workday releases and integration best practices, sharing relevant updates with the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of hands-on Workday integration development experience across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
- Strong expertise with Workday Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, EIBs, and Workday Studio.
- Deep understanding of Workday’s data model, business processes, and security framework.
- Experience integrating Workday with Infor ERP CloudSuite and other third-party systems.
- Strong technical proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPATH, SOAP, REST, JSON, and other integration technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially with complex data integration issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday Integration certification(s) are a plus.
