Position: MySQL DB + PostgreSQL DBA
Location: Onsite day 1 - Berkeley St, Boston, MA, USA, 02116
Type: Long Term Contract
Primary Skill: MySQL + MS SQL + Azure
Secondary skill: PostgreSQL DBA
Job Description/ Responsibilities
Must Have :
* Azure MySQL DBA skillset
* Azure portal navigation
* Hands on experience with Setting up cross region read replica or any other HA and DR solution implementation
* Hands on experience with Geo-redundant backup/restore
* MySQL upgrade to 8x version
* MySQL performance optimization
* Automation using shell scripts or powershell or Azure CLI
* SQL server DBA hands on experience or Azure PostgreSQL DBA hands on experience.
Nice to Have :
* Azure networking requirements to setup MySQL or PostgreSQL
* MySQL to SQL server migration knowledge
* Hands on with SSMA/DMS
* New Relic/Foglight or any monitoring experience
Additional Information:
Client is looking for Strong MySQL DBA with Azure hands-on experience along with PostgreSQL or MS SQL experience.
