We-re seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Network Engineer to join our Technology Services Group - Network Engineering team. This role Hybrid is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and Nashville, TN.

Utilizes standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Manages the processes for ensuring that all systems/applications/software/hardware are compliant with Corporate policy/procedures.Monitors project plans and budgets.Works closely with external vendors, internal partners and busienss teams to provide infrastructure/tool needs.Works with Application Development and Quality Assurance, Testing and Business teams to understand infrastructure needs during the development, testing and production BAU processes. We-re seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Network Engineer to join our Technology Services Group - Network Engineering team. This role Hybrid is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and Nashville, TN.
In this role, you-ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop detailed network designs from business requirements and architectural standards.
- Technical ownership of solutioning end-to-end packet engineering for complex patterns, including routing/switching, firewall, load balancer, and proxy environments.
- Provide technical leadership on product and technology roadmaps, lead design reviews with architecture review boards, new product certification, standards and playbook development for operational support.
- Integrate with business and technology partners to manage demand, drive change, improve processes, and deliver critical infrastructure projects.
- Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical business partners and leadership.
To be successful in this role, we-re seeking the following:
- Minimum 5 years of directly related experience in Network Architecture and Design. Financial Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with technologies such as Cisco ACI, Cisco SDWAN, Aviatrix, Cisco DCNM, Cisco MSO, Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 and VMware ADC Load Balancers, Cisco IOS/NX-OS/IOS-XE/IOS-XR
- Advanced knowledge with network technologies such as BPG, OSPF, VxLAN, VRF, GTM, LTM, DNS, IPsec, MACsec, Cloud technologies, and more
- Experience with automation scripting and tooling such as JSON, Python, Ansible, AppviewX, Postman, or others.
- Ability to mentor less technical staff, provide effective knowledge transfer, and efficient execution of project delivery from plan to build and build to run.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
