What We Do/Project

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager with strong experience in project management, Finance and Accounting, along with a proven ability to collaborate across Accounting and Technology teams. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver high-impact projects, including SAP initiatives, while ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget goals are met

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance and Accounting, Technical support (ERP, reporting, middleware, etc.) and other PMO teams to support solution delivery

Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, success metrics, and communication plans

Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams

Oversee SAP-related projects, ensuring a strong understanding of SAP ERP and/or EPM data structures, integrations, and reporting requirements

Drive effective collaboration with business users, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure project deliverables align with business needs

Track and report project performance, progress, and deliverables to senior management and stakeholders

Ensure compliance with IT governance, data standards, and best practices

Must Have Skills / Requirements

1)Project Management experience

a.6+ years of experience; Gathering requirements, ability to work in a fast-paced self-guided environment.

2)Finance/Accounting experience

a.6+ years of experience; Corporate finance and accounting (consolidations, group reporting, etc.)

3)Financial Systems experience

a.6+ years of experience ERP/Financial Systems

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

1)Previous media industry experience preferred

2)Strong understanding of SAP ERP and/or EPM data and processes preferred

3)Experience leading SAP projects

4)MBA or PMP preferred.

Soft Skills:

1)Strong functional knowledge of Finance, planning and Corporate Accounting principles

2)Experience working with infrastructure teams, SQL DBAs, and middleware engineering groups

3)Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

4)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

5)Strong organization skills required

6)Project management, training, and change management experience required

7)Must be exceptionally comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

8)Ability to forge positive, working relationships with stakeholders from various parts of the business (Accounting, Finance, and Technology)

9)Excellent written and oral communication skills

10)Initiative-taking and solution oriented
