Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Senior Quality Manager to lead all quality assurance, internal audit, and compliance activities for a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role implements the Quality Management Plan (QMP), enforces PMO QA standards, validates deliverable accuracy, ensures Section 508 conformance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across program operations.

The Quality Manager partners with program leadership, technical teams, content owners, and business analysts to ensure that all program artifacts, deliverables, workflows, and processes meet contractual quality standards, federal accessibility requirements, and mission expectations.

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Quality Manager will:

  • Implement and maintain the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for the program.
  • Conduct internal audits of PMO artifacts, technical deliverables, SOPs, reports, and documentation.
  • Validate accuracy, completeness, formatting, and contractual compliance of deliverables prior to submission.
  • Ensure Section 508 compliance for all content, documentation, and program outputs.
  • Monitor adherence to PMO quality standards, templates, workflows, and review processes.
  • Identify quality risks, recurring issues, and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Document findings, corrective actions, and quality improvement recommendations.
  • Develop quality checklists, inspection processes, and audit mechanisms for program teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, templates, and documentation best practices.
  • Support readiness reviews, milestone preparations, and executive reporting packages.
  • Maintain version control for quality tools, templates, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across technical and functional deliverables.
Qualifications

Clearance Requirement

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.

Education (Required)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.

Experience (Required)

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, project quality assurance, or compliance within federal or enterprise programs.
  • Experience implementing quality frameworks, conducting internal audits, and managing quality processes.
  • Experience reviewing technical and PMO deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience ensuring Section 508 accessibility conformance.


Technical Knowledge (Required)

  • Understanding of QA frameworks, quality inspection processes, and PMO quality governance.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and validation tools.
  • Knowledge of documentation standards, templates, and configuration control.
  • Experience using collaboration and documentation platforms.

Technical Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Experience with Agile delivery environments and sprint-based QA processes.
  • Experience with risk management, process improvement, or compliance frameworks.


Certifications

Preferred:

  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Section 508 Trusted Tester certification
  • Lean Six Sigma or quality/process improvement certifications


Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical review capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with PMO, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to enforce standards diplomatically while maintaining strong team relationships.
  • Highly organized with strong documentation discipline.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and perform quality checks in fast-paced environments.
