Construction Project Engineer/Boydton, VA (Onsite 5 Days a week Onsite)- Only W2 Hiring; No C2C

This role supports the delivery of mission-critical data center projects by managing logistics coordination and ensuring accurate, timely turnover documentation for operational readiness. The position bridges construction execution and operations handover, maintaining compliance with corporate standards and project specifications.

Logistics Coordination

• Oversee material flow and delivery schedules for construction activities.
• Track owner-furnished equipment and ensure timely site availability.
• Coordinate with vendors for badging, orientation, and compliance requirements.

Document Control & Turnover

• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, and milestone updates.
• Compile turnover packages including QC records, inspection reports, and punch lists.
• Maintain document control systems for closeout deliverables (e.g., O&M manuals, warranty logs).

Project Support

• Facilitate communication between general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Monitor construction progress and assist with beneficial use requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience in data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems (e.g., UPS, generators, HVAC).
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore) and document control processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for cross-team coordination.
