Job Overview

Client is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer IV to design, implement, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure for AI initiatives. This role involves maintaining AI resources, monitoring systems, ensuring security and patching, supporting production applications, and overseeing cloud migration activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Azure experience along with solid networking and security knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and administer cloud infrastructure for AI solutions in Microsoft Azure.

  • Provide architectural guidance on deploying and optimizing AI resources in Azure.

  • Configure and manage monitoring, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Perform regular system patching and updates to ensure security and stability.

  • Manage backup operations, disaster recovery, and environment resilience.

  • Plan and execute cloud migrations, including moving workloads from on-prem to cloud.

  • Support and troubleshoot issues for production applications across various platforms.

  • Work within diverse technical environments using .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and more.

  • Use security tools like Tenable for vulnerability management and remediation.

  • Utilize tools such as SCCM and SCOM for automated patching and deployments.

  • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Apply strong working knowledge of networking, including OSI layers and standard network protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AI and cloud resources in Azure.

  • Strong background in system security, patching, and update management.

  • Experience with backup systems, recovery processes, and mission-critical operations.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud migrations and hybrid cloud architecture.

  • Ability to work across multiple frameworks and technologies (.NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, etc.).

  • Production support and advanced troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience with security tools such as Tenable.

  • Experience with SCCM/SCOM for automated updates and deployments.

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, OSI model, and protocols.
