Job Details

Role: Scrum Master

Location: Irving, TX

W2 Contract Role, Onsite ROle

JD:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement.

  • Coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and ensure adherence to frameworks.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized and well-refined product backlog.

  • Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Track, manage, and communicate team progress, velocity, and sprint performance metrics.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and issues; coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.

  • Support Agile adoption across the organization; mentor team members and stakeholders.

  • Facilitate release planning and support forecasting for upcoming sprints.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality product increments aligned with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master (or Agile Coach).

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred).

  • Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or Trello.

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
