Job Description

Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a .Net Developer to develop full stack solutions for our internal and client-facing web applications, as well as suggest design improvements for existing functionality. This involves being comfortable with the design process at all stages, often starting with informal white-board discussions through to finished product. The candidate should be enthusiastic about gathering feedback to maximize ease of use throughout the application. Must be a team player. This means having great interpersonal skills and working well with others as well as having a collaborative work style. 



Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: 

 

  • Write quality Stored Procedures, Functions, and perform detailed testing of queries and report outputs.
  • Proactively identify and communicate dependencies, issues, risks and obstacles for completing the project.
  • Participates in the peer review process to ensure all reports are reviewed before distribution
  • Understand business requirements talking to stakeholders
  • Remove technical impediments for the team
  • Manage system deployment, Performance Issues and Interact with other development teams
  • Embrace Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Develop applications to meet Section 508 and application security requirements
  • Write and unit test code to implement the application design and deliver a high quality product.
  • Fix defects found during unit testing, system testing, integration testing, UAT, performance testing and 508 testing
  • Provide maintenance and operations support for IT applications.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and/or other contractors as needed
  • Share best practices, lessons learned and knowledge with the team
  • Participate in risk management activities including providing inputs related to risk impact analysis and mitigation plans.

 

The successful candidate will have

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 
    • B.A. or B.S. degree and 5+ years of systems development experience.
    • 3+ years’ of experience in Microsoft development technologies.
    • 2+ years’ experience with complex SQL, T-SQL, and SQL Server stored procedures.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS 
    • Experience designing and implementing reporting applications using Microsoft technologies
    • Experience working on ALM tools such as Jazz, TFS or Atlassian
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Critical analysis and problem solving skills
    • Experience building web applications using
    • ASP.NET MVC
    • ASP.NET Web API
    • Entity Framework
    • Comfortable with at least one JavaScript framework, preferably Angular (Angular, Knockout, Vue.JS, ReactJS, etc.)
    • Experience with a CSS framework, preferably Bootstrap
  • DESIRED SKILLS
    • Experience in Financial regulatory industry and/or Federal Government.
    • Experience with the mortgage industry or building financial applications
    • Experience developing multi-tier enterprise applications.
    • Solid understanding of Section 508 requirements and Application security requirements.
    • Comfortable with Angular 4
    • Database design experience 
    • Comfortable with a CSS framework, preferably Bootstrap 
  • Must Be US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust
